For Dogs
We know that not all dogs love car rides or veterinary visits. A little bit of preparation can minimize the stress of the visit.
First, if your dog is anxious in the car speak with your veterinarian for tips to make your dog more at ease traveling; this plan might include medications for nausea or anxiety.
If your pet becomes anxious around other pets, feel free to call from your car when you arrive for your appointment. We can then escort you directly into your exam room - avoiding unexpected encounters in the waiting room.
